Job Summary:

The Kikiwak Inn Housekeeper Supervisor under the direction of the Kikiwak Inn General Manager will be responsible for the overall co-ordinates, directs housekeeping crew and assist our guests efficiently, courteously and professionally in all related functions. Plans, organizes and directs the operations of the housekeeping department.

 

Summary of Duties:

  • Assisting the staff according to the cleaning requirements and are apprised of everything that happening in the department
  • Provide guest services with quality and high standards, registered guests
  • Provide updated accurate inventory of purchases and usage of housekeeping products
  • Process inventory listing to Management on supplies and inventory
  • The ability to develop relationships with staff and promote teamwork
  • Responsible for day-to-day functioning of housekeeping, staff relations, and management team
  • Ensure compliance with policies and procedures, Health & Safety, Licensing Laws, and MB Standards
  • Maintain equipment of cleanliness and of its condition and visual standards
  • Provide high industry standards on the operations of housekeeping department
  • Maintain high standards with cleanliness in Guest rooms and hallways, checking in on each once in a while
  • Deal and address all issues that arises within the department
  • Coordinate and communicate to other departments of requirement of rooms, for maintenance work requirements
  • Hire and provide orientation new hires, along with Management and or accounting approvals
  • Work with supplier along with accounting for controls and efficiency, for profitability
  • Prepares and runs numerous reports for management, print up dated in-house, arrival, departure, and room status report
  • Willing to Train

 

Qualifications:

  • Diploma – Grade 12 or equivalent
  • At least two (2) years’ experience in Customer service and Housekeeping
  • Certificate – First Aid and CPR Training
  • Criminal Record Check (required)
